Diptych & Triptych
I have done a bit of research on Diptych and
Triptych and it shows that they came from the Greek, Two (dip) Three (trip) and
Fold (tych) I found this out from (http://photography.tutsplus.com/tutorials/diptychs-and-triptychs-playing-with-photo-stories-and-unexpected-combinations--cms-23499
)
Diptych and Triptych came persificatly from art,
which was divided into sections but has became something that is used a lot now
in the art world, especially photography. Diptych and Triptych would be great
to use for a series of images that you may of taken so they are all from the
same environment and about the same thing to show a story, as obvious as it may
sound, Diptych is designed for two photographs or other art forms and Triptych
is for three pieces of work.
First step of creating a Diptych/Triptych is
opening up Photoshop, going to file & new.
This document will come up and where it says ‘Document type’
click on international paper and change the size to A4
and press ok.
I then opened up two photos that I wanted to use
on Photoshop and then cropped it down to the size I wanted.
