FMP - First Practice shoot

So the project has officially started! I finally got out there and created my first set of photographs! It was such a fun experience, it felt so good actually doing something creative and something new I guess. I shot these photographs at Uni with my boyfriends sister in law.
For the background I was very lucky, a class mate borrowed it me. It was like a muslim cloth with light grey and dark grey shades on it which I visioned would work very well and I guess I was right. As this was only a practice shoot I did not hire a Hair or Makeup artist as this is un nessersary money to be spending, so me and a good friend of mine did the hair and makeup, I do not think we did a bad job.

I used a mixture of the honey comb light and the snoot light, personally I think the honey comb worked much better due to it not being as harsh and blown out, what do you think?
I aim for these images to be edited with the silver effex program to create the grainy Film Noir style images.

However I am so pleased with the final outcome of my first shoot and I think it did go to plan! I am so excited for the next shoot, what will it turn out like?
