Fashion on location - Talia White workshop.

On Wednesday 26th of May I completed a fashion on location workshop with Talia White, before she took us out to take photographs she showed us some of fashion photographs to give us an idea of what she does and how she does it and it is completely true when people say the perfect photoshoot is down to a detailed plan!

Talia brought a professional model in for us to build up our portfolios, Talia explained how she goes about her photography work so that we could develop our own style in this workshop. The weather was not all that great which made me feel really nervous because I did not know which aperture setting to use on my camera as I wanted only my foreground in focus. I used my canon 600D camera with my 50mm Lens to ensure I could create the depth of field I wanted. The only problem I experienced with only using my 50mm lens was that I never actually created fashion work due to my images not being of the model full length.

The images above are my final images from the shoot which I have edited using Camera raw and Photoshop. I really enjoyed the work shop with Talia and I feel like I have benefited a lot from it so now I would feel much more confident to go out on location again with a professional model. The amazing thing about using a professional model was that I never had to think of poses or ask her to do something different, she just naturally moves! I had never really used my 50mm lens before simply because I never knew what to expect from it or how to use it properly to be honest, now I have used it I feel much better and know I will use it a lot in the future!

Any feedback on my images would be great.
